Iguaçu Falls surrounded by rainforest

Destinations / Iguaçu Falls

Iguaçu: the falls are the opening act. The lesson is next door.

Morning on the catwalks above one of the world’s great waterfalls. Afternoon inside the dam that powers two countries. A destination that already hosts two million visitors a year — and is building for large groups.

The story

Imagine your group here

Your group hears the falls before they see them. The Iguaçu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986, received more than two million visitors in 2025 — and 45% of them came from abroad.

Then the story changes scale. A short drive away, Itaipu’s “Itaipu Especial” tour takes visitors inside the dam and into its control room — engineering your participants will remember long after the photos.

And when the day is done, the dam lights up: Itaipu Iluminada is a night visit with music, the kind of moment that turns a trip into a shared memory.

Experience

Plant a tree, leave a mark

At the Bela Vista Biological Refuge, a reforested area run by Itaipu, visitors walk 2 km and plant a native tree.

Best for: ESG and sustainability programs

Good to know

Exclusive access

Private or after-hours access to the falls depends on the park concession’s rules; we check it case by case.

Three countries

Foz do Iguaçu sits where Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay meet — the Argentine side of the falls can be added to the program.

Large groups

With a 4,500-person venue announced and resort capacity growing, Iguaçu is one of Brazil’s strongest options for large incentives.

Best for: Large incentives, energy and engineering learning journeys, ESG programs.
